Despina Karras

Despina Karras writes contemporary romance with smart, sassy heroines and swoonworthy heroes. A wheelchair user all her life, Despina believes romance is for everyone and focuses on writing #ownvoices stories with disabled characters. She was a winner of the Put Your Heart in a Book contest (2019) and a finalist in several others.
Despina is the founder of #PitchDis, a Twitter pitch event for disabled writers. She is also a certified weather geek with a BS in Meteorology. She lives in North Carolina with her family, including her rambunctious cat and dog.
