Michelle Hazen
Award-winning author Michelle Hazen is a nomad with a writing problem. Years ago, she and her husband swapped office jobs for seasonal wildlife biology jobs and moved out on the road. As a result, she wrote most of her books with solar power in odd places, including a bus in Thailand, a golf cart in a sandstorm, and a beach in Honduras. These days, she works as a freelance editor and writing coach with Sanctuary Editorial partially based out of Idaho, but thanks to the wonders of Wi-Fi, she and her husband are still soaking up inspiration while they travel the country and work along the way. She is currently addicted to Shadow & Bone, rock climbing, and Tillamook cheese.
Michelle has been awarded the Linda Howard Award of Excellence, the Lone Star Award, the Great Expectations Award, and been named a finalist in the CRW Stiletto contest, Booksie First Chapter Contest, and Bookseller's Best Awards, as well as a quarter-finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest. Her published work includes A Cruel Kind of Beautiful (2017), Fill Me (2018), Playing the Pauses (2018), Tie Me Down (2018), Insatiable (2018), and Christmas with the Band (2018). With Berkley, she has published contemporary romances Unbreak Me (2019) and Breathe the Sky (2020). Her latest romantic comedy is So You Think You're a Match? (2021). All these are available at major retailers including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Audible, etc.
